Jay Martin

Jay Martin graduated from the University of Georgia in 1968 and moved to Memphis in 1969. Jay founded National Safety Associates (NSA) with $500 and has served as President and CEO since inception. NSA is a direct marketing company with 75,000 independent distributors in all 50 states and 25 foreign countries. The primary product of NSA is Juice Plus. NSA has current system wide sales of $350 million annually and has sales since inception of $6.5 billion. NSA has 300 employees, primarily housed at corporate headquarters in Collierville, and a shipping facility in Memphis. NSA has hosted their annual convention in Memphis for 30 years, the average attendance at the convention is 5,000.

Jay Martin serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis, Memphis Athletic Ministries, US Direct Selling Association and is a generous supporter of Boys and Girls Club, Church Health Center, St Jude (NSA sponsors St. Jude Marathon), Volunteers of America, United Way of Greater Memphis, Albert and Jessie Martin Scholarship (Established in 1985 to provides tuition supplements for 20 students in Yadkin Co. NC who wish to pursue a career in education.) Jay Martin also established the Boys and Girl-s Club of Greater Memphis, "Job Seeker" program with a $5 million dollar grant which helps train, motivate and place high school graduates from the Boys and Girls Club in meaningful jobs. The program currently serves 50 to 75 kids annually.

Tim Blank

Growing up in a rural farm community of the western Dakotas, Tim Blank gained a great appreciation for agriculture and the land we all steward. Blank began his accomplished horticulture career at The Walt Disney Company in 1993. He also served as a research liaison for Walt Disney World's partnerships with the Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In 2000, Blank accepted the position as Chief Horticulturist and Greenhouse Manager of The Land Pavilion at Epcot. He is accredited with implementing innovative advances in technology, as well as new growing concepts and techniques that have strengthened The Land's world class status.

In June of 2005, Blank left the Walt Disney Company and partnered with several other international experts in the hydroponic field to launch a one of a kind company called Future Growing, LLC. Well known in the hydroponic community, he is a popular keynote speaker at global agricultural and environmental conferences. Blank recently partnered with Jay Martin to form a sister company under NSA/Juice Plus, called Tower Garden LLC, where Blank serves as CTO. Mr. Blank is excited about how this new collaboration will help further the mission Future Growing LLC and Tower Garden LLC share in common: Inspiring healthy living around the world.

Dr. Mitra Ray

Dr. Mitra Ray is a woman on a mission. She is fiercely committed to being a trusted guide for those who love life, those who want to be healthy, fit and gorgeous, and those who want live to dance at their grandchildren's wedding. Her research has been published in such prestigious journals as Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and the Journal of Cell Biology. Audiences in 4 continents have enjoyed her award winning books, audios and lectures on health, beauty and longevity.

Her mission and commitment is to educate and inspire people about how plant-based, whole foods create simple, sustainable beauty and vitality. Her latest book, Do You Have the Guts to Be Beautiful is available today and was featured in March 2013 issue of Women's Health magazine going out to millions of readers.

Doug Barlow

Doug has been making a difference in people's lives through whole food nutrition and personal relationship coaching since the fall of 1994. He and his partner have built a large multinational distribution network through educational programs focused on the benefits of a plant based diet.

An avid outdoor adventurer with a pension for gravity and wind powered sport, Doug loves to share plan B with anyone interested in escaping the "Rat Race" know as our modern society.

With beliefs such as "the simplest solution is usually the best" and "if you are not living on the edge, chances are you are taking up too much space" you will thoroughly enjoy this fun and fully expressed message that Doug has to share. He is the father of three lovely daughters and maintains a home with his partner Mitra in both the Pacific NW and London, England.

Jake Kelly

Jake Kelly is the daughter of NMD's Joy Kelly and Sandy Campbell. She is an avid beach volleyball player and ex Division 1 athlete. She grew up in Waldorf education where farming was part of the curriculum and after she graduated from college she went to Europe to work on organic farms. While she was away, her parents decided to open a farm of Tower Gardens and asked Jake if she wanted to run. How could she say no? So now she works with several interns from UCSB to provide food for their community through the farmers market and a CSA.

John Holowaty

John comes from Bury, Lancashire, in the UK. He started his Juice PLUS+® business in September, 2009 and qualified to NMD & 39 club last month. John is a former 60hrs a week "slave to the industry" personal trainer and has been involved in training and sport all his life.

Katie Ravey

Katie comes from Rossdendale in Lancashire in the UK. She initially started her Juice PLUS+® business in May 2011 but didn't do anything for a year. Last May she found out what worked for her and she quickly qualified to NMD and 39 club last month.

Katie originally studied to be an accountant and went on to work for her father's family business but soon found out she didn't like spreadsheets and accounts payable.
